About Me

My name is Austin Fink, and I am a senior finance major from Coppell, TX. I am graduating in May of this year. I am involved in my fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, and have served in many leadership positions through the organization.  I love playing and watching sports and cooking in my spare time. Last semester I began volunteering at the Scott & White Clinic in College Station.

In this class, I hope to get a basic understanding of real estate terms and business. My dad is involved in real estate law, so it will be nice to be able to talk with him about some of his work and have a better understanding of what exactly he deals with.

I hope to graduate in May with a GPA of above a 3.5. After graduation, I am going to work as a Process Consultant for Protiviti Consulting in Dallas. Ideally, I would like to work for a couple of years for Protiviti and then return to school for either an MBA or a Master's in Healthcare Administration (MHA). Eventually, I would like to become involved in hospital administration, possibly a CFO of a hospital.

I wouldn't considered myself a very unique person, but there are a couple of things in my past that most people probably couldn't say they have done. I have broken my sternum playing basketball and my nose several times. I have traveled to 12 foreign countries, and I hope to travel to many more. I have also had the pleasure of sitting courtside or first row at just about every Dallas sports team's games thanks to a family friend.

My bucket list includes things like more international travel and more historic sporting events, including the Super Bowl, a World Series game, and an English Premier League soccer game.

My favorite sites are very limited. I typically bounce between Facebook, ESPN, and Yahoo! (Not Twitter).

Here is a picture of me in front of one of the Christmas trees at Santa's Wonderland this year.
